1. Platform Purpose
   Developin enables software developers to receive financial support from users via subscription-based access to projects and perks. We support both open-source and commercial software creators. This is a funding platform, not a software distribution or guarantee service.
2. Project Ownership & Verification
   You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal rights to monetize a project.
   We provide verification tools (e.g., GitHub integration), but we do not independently verify authenticity.
   Misrepresentation of ownership may result in account suspension, removal, or legal action.
3. Subscriptions, Features & Changes
   Creators may change, add, or remove features from subscription plans at any time.
   Developin is not responsible for refunds or enforcement of off-platform perks (e.g., Discord invites, consulting).
   Subscribers support projects at their own discretion and risk.
4. Payments, Fees & Platform Charges
   Payments are processed via third-party providers such as Stripe. You also agree to Stripe’s Terms and Connect Account Agreement.
   Creators must set a minimum price of £5.99.
   Developin applies a platform fee starting at 5% + £1.00 per subscriber, decreasing with higher subscriber counts.
   Stripe and processing fees are applied separately.
   We do not hold or control funds.
5. Referral Program
   Referrals earn a percentage of the first month’s platform fee.
   Self-referrals, abuse, or fraudulent traffic will be disqualified and may result in suspension.
6. GitHub Access & External Integrations
   Creators may offer GitHub collaborator access or contributor permissions as perks.
   Developin facilitates these actions when possible but is not responsible for GitHub API limits, permissions, or access delays.
   Creators must manage their repositories and integrations directly.
7. Plan Versioning & Updates
   Creators may introduce new versions of plans. Existing subscribers are not automatically migrated.
   Subscribers must manually opt-in to new plans.
   Legacy plans remain active until cancelled or deprecated.
8. Fraud, Chargebacks & Refunds
   Invalid chargebacks may lead to account bans.
   Refunds are handled directly between creators and subscribers.
   We may assist with verified fraud or abuse reports at our discretion.
9. Content & Conduct Rules
   Prohibited conduct includes:
   - Illegal or deceptive activity
   - Hate speech, impersonation, harassment
   - Distribution of malware or copyright-infringing content
   - Artificial inflation of metrics (subscribers, traffic, etc.)
   Violations may result in suspension or termination.
10. Trust, Risk & Identity
    Developin does not independently verify the identity or claims of any user or project.
    Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before subscribing.
    If you suspect impersonation or fraud, report it to us and your local authorities if necessary.
    Developin disclaims liability for decisions made based on user content or false representations.
11. Perks Disclaimer
    Perks are optional and offered solely by the project creator. These may include Discord access, early features, shout-outs, voting power, or private repositories.
    Deliverables are not guaranteed by Developin. We do not mediate or enforce perk fulfillment.
12. Open Source & Global Regulations
    Developers contributing to open source in a personal capacity are generally exempt from EU CRA obligations.
    However, commercial or compiled software distributed through subscriptions may require compliance with regional laws.
    It is the creator’s responsibility to consult legal counsel if unsure.
    Developin is not responsible for your regional or international compliance.
13. Liability Disclaimer
    Developin is not liable for:
    - Lost income
    - Data breaches
    - Feature failure or delay
    - Non-delivery of perks or content
    All use of the platform is at your own risk.
14. Suspensions & Account Termination
    We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account for policy violations or misuse.

15. Changes to These Terms
    Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the latest version.

    Developin is a trading name of One Digital INT Ltd, registered at 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, UK (Company No. 09415327).
